Affectionately referred to as “Boss,” Lorraine was born in Lynn to Virginia (Richards) Covey. She was a lifelong Lynn resident and graduated from Classical High School. Following her education, she worked as a data analyst at Electric Insurance Company. She had a love for bingo, traveling, diamond art and all animals, especially cats.
She is survived by her loving children, Barbara Jean Bohanon and her husband Jason of Lynn, and Stacey Linares of Danvers; her adopted son-in-law Stephen Siteman; her cherished grandchildren Brandan Linares of Peabody, Rachel Pamelor Bohanon of Lynn, Emilie Linares of Danvers, and Abigail Linares-Dye of Danvers; her siblings Joseph Covey and his wife Patty of Rochester, Ann Pinto and her husband Mario of Lynn, Alan “Scotty” Covey of Rochester; her brother-in-law Jose Matos and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, Lorraine is predeceased by her sister Linda Matos.
Friends and family are invited to attend Lorraine’s visitation on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
