Jose was born to Jose and Delia Paradela on March 28,1936, in Camaguey, Cuba. On August 15, 1959, he married his loving wife, Roselia Paradela. In October,1967, they both left their homeland and moved to Elizabeth with the goal of a better future. Jose was a loving father to Jose Luis Paradela and Pilar Garcia, a wonderful grandfather to Julian Garcia, a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and a caring friend.
He is survived by his loving and faithful daughter Pilar Garcia and grandchild Julian Garcia. Loving brother Carlos Paradela Sr. and his wife Martha Paradela, niece and nephew Martha and Carlos Paradela. He will be deeply missed. He would love to be remembered as a hard worker and provider for his family. Let us not forget the fond memories that were created.
Papi, no words could ever capture your strength and endless effort to always strive to be better, to do more and everything possible for your family. You were my role model always and someone that I will never stop trying to impress. You always instilled in me to do my best. Please know that your efforts and will to live and do for your family will never be forgotten. I will continue your legacy and hope that I will one day be as good of a person as you were to your family.
But it's time for you to rest now, to be with your wife, mom. I know how much you missed her after her passing in September 2023 and then the loss of your son in December 2023. It was a very difficult time for us all but more so for you as you shared a home with both of them. Their passing left a huge hole in your heart and soul that couldn't be repaired. You tried to be strong, but there was just too much sorrow. Rest easy now dad, I will be at peace knowing that you are surrounded by their loving souls and those of your mom and dad. That gives me comfort and I know you are happy once again.
I love you and you will always live in our hearts.
Your daughter, Pili.
