Brittany Renae Baccus, age 32, took her last earthly breath on April 30, 2024 as she ran into the gates of Heaven. Brittany resided in Springville, Alabama with her most beloved Pete. Brittany was born on June 7, 1991. She graduated from Ashville High School in 2009 where she enjoyed hanging out with many friends and being on the cheer squad.
Brittany enjoyed crafting, spending time with family and friends, and picking out new bowties for her cat, Pete. Brittany was strong willed and stubborn at times, but with such an enormous heart for those she cared about. Brittany was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed and remembered by the many lives she touched.
In March of 2017, while on a ski trip to Colorado, Brittany ended up at St. Anthony Hospital where they determined she had a cancerous brain tumor. She spent a few months in Denver, and was then airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL where she spend another 4 months. Over the last 7 years, Brittany has undergone multiple surgeries and procedures at UAB. Brittany finally succumbed to the brain cancer that changed her life 7 years go.
Brittany was preceded in death by her two grandfathers, Charles Baccus Sr and Aubrey Cash and nephew, Roger Cash Baccus. Brittany is survived by her parents, Chuck and Anita Baccus and grandmothers Florence Baccus and Peggy Cash. Forever remembered by her siblings, Ashley (Jason) Jones, Trent (Alyssa) Hare, and Logan (Alexis) Baccus. Brittany will be missed greatly by nephews, Brandon Jones, Blake Jones, Dyllan Hare, Charlie Hare, and niece Hannah Jones, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday May 5, 2024 at 2:00PM from St. Clair Baptist Church in Springville, Alabama.
