Ronald Feola Sr. departed from this world on the morning of Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the age of 77. Father, son, husband, grandfather, and serial jokester–a man who loved deeply and was deeply loved
He was the fifth of six children born November 10, 1946 to John Baptiste Feola and Sarah Mariah Feola in Glendale, California. He was preceded in death by his parents and four of his siblings: Rose Marie, Phillip, John, and Kathy.
Ronald leaves to mourn his wife, Cynthia Feola, to whom he was married for 54 years; brother Richard Feola; children Ronald Feola Jr. and Donna (Patrick) Hatch; four grandchildren: Faith Feola, Devon Feola, Sarah Hatch, and Brandon Hatch; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ronald was simultaneously a man’s man and the very greatest exemplar of tenderness and selflessness that one could imagine. When he wasn’t hitting home runs, rebuilding transmissions, or burning rubber at the dragstrip with unmatched time precision, he was using his sharp wit and inextinguishable love to make the world a brighter place. To him, there was never an occasion too serious to make someone laugh, nor was there ever an occasion to put himself before others. His enduring compassion represented the very essence of what it means to be human–to create happiness through love.
A memorial service and celebration of Ronald’s life will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary 7600 South Eastern Las Vegas, NV 89123 on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 4:00 p.m with Pastor Jeff Long officiating.
