She was born in Kinder, Louisiana on January 31, 1958 to parents Junius Perrodin & Bertha Bushnell. Marie was raised and graduated from High School in Iowa, LA. Afterword she went on to live in Lake Charles, LA, where she was a devoted caretaker and grew great bonds with her clients.
She was affectionately known as "Wonder Woman" to her daughters, and "Lil Marie" to most. Although we know that she loved all her daughters equally, there was a special place in her heart for LakeLynn.
Marie was a loving person and very socially outgoing. She never met a stranger. If she met you once, she would remember you forever. She made everyone feel welcomed as a friend.
Marie was sassy, spunky and energetic. She loves Zydeco music, trail rides, exploring the adventures of the casino, and spending time with her family.
She was very faithful to our Catholic religion and upbringing. Marie will truly be missed as she heads to her final Zydeco in the sky.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Ballard & Bertha Ballard and one brother
Those left to cherish her memories include her children; Michelle Lee (Terry), Tamika Perrodin, Kayla McElfresh (Russell), and LakeLynn Perrodin, her grandchildren; Sgt. Robert Davis, Jr, Jonathan Davis, Layla Mulligan, Bentley McElfresh, Skyla McElfresh, Marley Rougeau, her 9 sisters and 4 brothers as well as a host of nieces & nephews.
