She was born on February 1, 1947, in Keene, NH, daughter of the late William and Grace (Fontaine) Rioux. She attended St. Joseph Region School and graduated from Keene High School with the class of 1965. She later went on to study at Ward Business School.
On February 25, 1967, Ann married the love of her life, Carl R. DeBlank.
Ann had worked for the New England Telephone Company, Sprague and Carlton Furniture, and Keene Answering Service She had most recently been employed by Ye Goodie Shoppe, from which she retired.
Ann enjoyed summering on Granite Lake, spending time with her family, and cooking for those she loved. She was one proud grandma to her two grandchildren she loved fiercely. They were her world and she was able to enjoyed their big life moments.
Ann will be dearly missed by her husband: Carl DeBlank, Sr.; children: Carl “Chip” DeBlank, Jr., Karen Gardner and her husband Todd, and Holly; grandchildren: Trevor and Kiara Gardner; siblings: Linda Bourke Collins and her husband Geoffrey and William Rioux and his wife Cindy; as well as two aunts, many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In keeping with Ann’s wishes, there will be no public services.
