Janet L. Kirschbaum, age 84, died peacefully on April 28, 2024 in Stuart, Florida. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and spent most of her life in Valley Stream, New York prior to moving to Stuart, Florida. For the past 11 months she was well-cared-for by the wonderful and caring staff at Palm City Nursing Home & Rehab. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Kirschbaum, a brother, three sisters and a baby granddaughter. She is survived by her children, John Kirschbaum (Dale) of Wantagh, New York and Donna McCann (John) of Stuart, Florida, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
She was quick-witted, straight-forward, wise and a truthful person; she told it like it is. She had the ability to make you laugh. She was strongly devoted to Saint Padre Pio, Saint Joseph, the Holy Rosary and the Chaplet of The Divine Mercy. She experienced many miracles in her lifetime. During her life she was a Eucharistic (Extraordinary) Minister and quietly volunteered and served others. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held in New York at a later date. Her final resting place will be Fernhill Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum, Stuart, Florida..
