Noel was a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend.
Those that knew him know all the great stories of his adventures. He particularly enjoyed keeping up with all the friends he made along the way. This included the friends he made attending William Chrisman High (Class of ‘67), the shipmates he served with in the U.S. Navy, and the many other friends he made attending his son’s music shows (Noel was their fifth Beatle & unofficial manager). Noel loved his friends very much, and cherished every opportunity to share a story and laugh with them.
He cared very deeply for everyone, but especially his children and grandchildren. He was a dedicated father who never ignored a phone call or a request for help or understanding. His children feeling an enormous loss is a testament to his gift for taking care of the people loved.
Noel was also an active participant in the lives of his grandchildren. He was a patron of their art and a vocal supporter of their soccer teams. He was their babysitter and he was their chauffeur. He was there for their tournaments, practices, concerts, and before-school routines. He was their mentor and their friend. And, ultimately, he was the best Papaw any grandchild could ask for.
Noel loved great music, movies, classic cars, and life! He will be missed by all who knew him and his kindness will remain in our hearts for a lifetime.
