James R. Brodrick

James Russell Brodrick, 37 of Fort Wayne and formerly of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at his sister's home. James was a 2005 graduate of Huntington North High School. He was a very loved son, brother, and uncle. He had a very big love for movies and started collecting them with his mother. They had a very impressive collection of DVD's. James also had a love and talent for video games, there was not a game he could not beat. James was born on October 27, 1986 in Huntington, the son of the late Michael and Jackie (Helvie) Brodrick. Survivors include a sister: Heather Brodrick; two nephews: Izaiah Brodrick, Jayden Curry; a niece: Laela Brodrick and a good friend: Kyle Davis. Laela wanted everyone to know, it's okay, he is resting now. James loved his nephews and niece very much. He was preceded in death by his parents and his paternal grandparents: Russ and Donna Brodrick. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
