Pete Angel Pulido Jr., age 53, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Pete grew up in Houston, Texas where he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He attended Milby High School until 1989 and started his own family later in Houston. Never far from his family home from time to time he’d work with his dad Pete Angel Pulido Sr. with the family trucking company. Pete loved working as both an entrepreneur and a truck driver with the family business.
Pete enjoyed BBQing, spending time with loved ones, 18-wheelers, margaritas, and scary movies.
Pete Angel Pulido III, his oldest son, Vanessa, his first daughter, Angel his youngest daughter, stepdaughters Elena, Sabrina, Brittany and stepson Michael, were his pride and joys. His children gave him strength during the rough times and laughter and joy all of the time. Pete’s determination and strength was passed on to his children. His kids, family and friends will hold dear the stories they will be privileged to tell everyone one day of the funny, loving, and resilient Pete.
Pete is survived by his older sister, Cindy Pulido, younger sister, Lisa Castillo, and younger sister, Amanda Pulido whose memories, adventures, inside jokes and nicknames will hold special places in their hearts. His 3 nephews, JJ, Drake, Draco, and niece Victoria; grandchildren Isaiah, Sophia, Cesar, Kimmy, and Monica along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends; and his beautiful children. He had a knack for making friends easily and making them feel like family.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Rosa Pulido along with sisters Monica and Anna Marie where they are all waiting for him at the Door to Heaven.
Services will be held at Forest Park Lawndale on May 25 at 2pm.
