HICKORY—Eva Pearl “Bill” Fullbright of Trinity Village was received into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
Born on April 7, 1925 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Lamon and Minnie Sheppard. A lifelong Baptist, Eva was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She worked in the furniture industry as well as Catawba County Schools nutrition.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Hayden W. Fullbright; daughter, Diane Fullbright; siblings, Catherine Baker, Annie Austin, Carrol Sheppard, Harold Sheppard and Paul Sheppard.
Survivors include sister, Nell Bridges; children, Steve (Hazel) Fullbright and Libby Barger; grandchildren, Darren Fullbright, Stephanie Fullbright (Pete Olson) and Matthew (Stephanie) Barger; great grandchildren, Emma Henning and Max Henning, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, May 12 at 2:30 p.m. at Trinity Village, 1265 21st Street, NE, Hickory with Chaplain Lisa Anderson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Village or Carolina Caring.
