Margie Lois Schmuldt (Klein), age 93, longtime resident of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, Saturday, May 4, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Eugene W. Schmuldt in 2000 and son, William “Bill” in 2020. An amazing mom who will be missed by son, Dick (Beverly) Schmuldt and daughter, Janet (Jim) Barnes; a loving grandma to Derick Schmuldt, Tonia Stewart, Dustin Schmuldt, Ryan (Sara) Schmuldt, Elizabeth (Adam) Carlson, and Allison (Tyler) Osmun; and proud great-grandma of Olivia and Evalyn Stewart, Charlie and Henry Schmuldt, Sofia, Liliana and Rosie Schmuldt, and Victor Carlson. She is also survived by her best brother, Gerald (Dorothy) Klein; and her beloved nieces and nephews.
Margie was blessed by many friendships, great neighbors, and a faithful church family. Marge worked for many years as school secretary at Sandy Hill and Maplewood Elementary in Jenison. Marge loved spending time with her family and friends. Her care and concern extended not just to her family, but to everyone she met. She was happiest when others were happy and compassionate when they were struggling. She enjoyed gardening, baking, music, dancing, volunteering at church, and being included in anything that sounded like a party!
