John Andrew Gilbert Fedowitz

John Andrew Gilbert Fedowitz, age 57, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 at his residence. He was born on April 21, 1967 in Seal Beach, CA the son of Frank Fedowitz and Jayne Gilbert. He was a wild spirit, with the kindest heart, and everyone who met him will always remember his goofy smile. He devoted his life to his family, and his unconditional love extended to everyone in his life. From fishing, to traveling, to working on his antique cars, to his yearly July 4th firework shows, his love for adventure knew no bounds. His strength and dedication was unmatched, and countless people who admire him drew inspiration and courage from that strength. The world is a brighter place for having him in it, and he will forever have a place in the heart of everyone who knows him. He is survived by his loving family, including his son Andrew Fedowitz, daughter Chelsea Herrmann and Son-in-law Matthew Herrmann, bonus daughter Allison Almond, as well as his mother and siblings, his sister-in- law Debbie Stogsdill, brother-in-law Randy Stogsdill, and countless other loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, VA with Rev. John Hodgen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg, VA.
