Virginia D. Ertelt

Virginia D. Ertelt, 89, passed away on May 3, 2024. She was born in Worcester, Mass. She lived in Fort Wayne for 60 years. Virginia retired in 2002 from Central Indiana Hardware where she was the manager of Finishing Touches. Prior to that she worked for the Fort Wayne Medical Laboratory as a cytotechnologist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce in 1991. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Ertelt of Fort Wayne, her son, K.C. Ertelt of Fishers; her granddaughter, Sarah Ertelt of Kokomo. A visitation will be on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM. A funeral mass will begin at 10:30 AM, with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Preferred memorials to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
