Es con gran tristeza que las familias Corral y Gaytán anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida Toribia Corral Gaytán quien falleció el 3 de mayo de 2024 en Fort Smith, Arkansas a la edad de 75 años.
Toribia era una mujer amable, fiel y cariñosa que dedicó toda su vida al cuidado de su familia. Adoraba a sus nietos y disfrutaba mimarlos cada vez que podía. Le encantaba cocinar y le alegraba poder servirte un plato. También le encantaba cuidar su jardín de flores e intentar ganar un premio mayor en el casino.
Toribia nació el 27 de abril de 1949 en Durango, México. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, su hermano Dolores y su hijo Guadalupe.
Toribia deja a su amado esposo, Anselmo con el que compartió su vida por 53 años,la extrañará para siempre. Ella será extrañada por su hermano Jesús Gaitán y su esposa Estela, su hermana Margarita Nery y su esposo Arturo, así como sus muchos sobrinos y sobrinas.
Mamá / “YaYa”/ Madre será siempre querida y amada por sus hijos: hijo Vicente y nuera Estela, hija Luz María y su difunto yerno Víctor, hijo José y nuera Mónica, hijo Víctor y nuera Josie, hijo Anselmo Jr. y nuera Alejandra, hija María y yerno Manuel, hijo Jesús y nuera Lala.
La abuela Toribia será extrañada para siempre por sus 33 nietos: Laura, Elizabeth, Melanie, Vilma, Karina, Silvestre, Brandon, Mikah, Adryan, Joziah, Jose Victor, Alexis, Bryan, Ryan, Steven, Javier, Mickey, Tony, Fabian, Daniel, Sergio, Reina, Eduardo, Mauricio, Yovani, Samantha, Emillie, Stephanie, Abel, Malakai, Ezra, Adrian y Hennesie.
También será recordada por sus 18 bisnietos, Jonathan, Hailey, Joseph, Lexie, Noah, Jayleen, Ellie, Amelia, Kandie, Jackson, Sebastian, Danely, Amy, Lia, Matthew, Odalis, Elena y Benjamin.
Toribia fue una amada esposa, madre, abuela, tía, suegra, cuñada y amiga y no hay palabras para expresar cuánto la extrañaremos.
La velacion será el miércoles 8 de mayo de 2024, de 12:00 p. m. a 7:00 p.m. El Rosario comienza a las 6:30 pm. Capilla de la funeraria Edwards, 201 N. 12th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901. La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo el jueves 9 de mayo de 2024 a las 10:00 a. m. en la Iglesia Católica Immaculate Conception, 22 N. 13th St, Fort Smith, AR 72901.
It is with great sorrow that the Corral and Gaytán families announce the passing of our beloved Toribia Corral Gaytán who passed away on May 3, 2024, in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 75. Toribia was a kind, faithful and caring woman who devoted her whole life to caring for her family. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling them every chance that she got. She loved to cook, and it brought her joy when she was able to serve you a plate. She also loved caring for her flower garden and trying to win a jackpot at the casino.
Toribia was born on April 27, 1949, in Durango, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dolores, and her son Guadalupe.
Toribia leaves behind and will be forever missed by her loving husband of 53 years, Anselmo.
She will be greatly missed by her brother Jesus Gaitan and wife Estela, her sister Margarita Nery and husband Arturo, as well as her many nieces and nephews.
Mom / “YaYa”/ Madre will be forever cherished and loved by her children: son Vicente and daughter in law Estela, daughter Luz Maria and her late son in law Victor, son Jose and daughter in law Monica, son Victor and daughter in law Josie, son Anselmo Jr. and daughter in law Alejandra, daughter Maria and son in law Manuel, and son Jesus and daughter in law Lala.

She will also be remembered by her 18 great grandchildren, Jonathan, Hailey, Joseph, Lexie, Noah, Jayleen, Ellie, Amelia, Kandie, Jackson, Sebastian, Danely, Amy, Lia, Matthew, Odalis, Elena, and Benjamin.
Toribia was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and friend and there are no words to express how much that she will be missed.
Viewing and visitation will be on Wednesday May 8, 2024, from 12:00pm to 7:00pm. Rosary begins at 6:30 pm.
