Pat, as she was known by friends and family, was born on February 18, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan. She was one of 16 children. After graduating from Holy Cross Catholic School she married Marvin Kammer on August, 24th 1957. They were partners in life for almost 67 years. Marvin and Patricia lived in Detroit, Michigan and had three beautiful children before moving to their forever home in Englewood, Florida together.
Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter Cindy Kammer. The close family left to cherish her memory include her husband, Marvin Kammer; children, James Kammer (Julie Kammer) and Robert Kammer; Grandchildren, Samantha Fye (Jason Fye), Stacey Russell (Nate Russell), Ashley Barton (Mike Barton), Matthew Kammer; and five great-grandchildren; Evarly Fye, Ellouise Fye, Tessa Rose Russell, Madelyn Barton and Emily Barton.
Patricia was an avid reader and enjoyed rooting for the Detroit Lions, Tigers, Michigan Wolverines and Spartans. She loved the glimmer of tinsel on the tree at Christmas, relaxing by her sparkling pool in the sun, collecting memories with family and friends and reminiscing about the good ol’ days. She treasured her husband, had a fierce love for her sons, and spending summers with her grandchildren brought her much joy. She touched many lives with her big heart, wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. She had an innate ability to strengthen those around her with her wisdom and love.
She will be missed beyond measure.
