Alton Humphrey III was born on August 26, 1982 in Dallas, Texas,
weighing 3 lbs. and 15 oz.
Alton attended Fellowship Christian Academy at OCBF for
Elementary School, Trinity Christian School for Junior High,
and attained his high school diploma from South Grand Prairie
High School in May 2000. Alton then attended Navarro Jr. College
where he met his future wife, Kristina (Phillips) Humphrey
Alton and Kristina were married on Nov. 14, 2009, and stayed
devotedly in love for the remainder of his life on Earth.
Alton and Kristina welcomed Aiden and Leah in 2009 and 2011.
Some of Alton’s hobbies included gaming,
media, art, family time, writing,
watching his favorite movies like The Last Dragon, Karate Kid,
Pootie Tang, and Friday. He was also a dedicated philanthropist,
and served on The Atatiana Project heading
the media and production.
Alton became a MASON in 2011, and was employed as
The Director of Event Technology at Encore/Fairmont Hotel.
Alton was incredibly loved by his employees throughout his
career serving in media and technology.
Alton is survived by His wife, Kristina D. Humphrey,
his children, Aiden Pierce Humphrey and Leah Dashawn Humphrey.
his parents, Alton Humphrey, Jr., and Gloria Humphrey.
Sister, LaSonia M. Hairston (Curtis), Sister in law Sherelle Shaw (Alvin)
Brother in law Timothy Phillips, Mother in Law, Alice Phillips.
Grandmother Jean Alice Humphrey, and was preceded in death by
his grandfather, Alton Humphrey Sr., and grandmother,
Baby Ruth Gaines (Charles)
Alton also leaves behind countless aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Alton’s presence will be deeply missed in every area of his life to all
who were blessed to know him.
A visitation hour for Alton will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Singing Hills Funeral Home, 6221 University Hills Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75241. A homegoing celebratory service will occur Friday, May 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, 1660 W Camp Wisdom Rd, Dallas, Texas 75232. A committal service will occur Friday, May 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75232.
