Adrian found solace and inspiration in the Word of God, during his illness, where conversations often centered on biblical figures like Daniel and Job. He admired Daniel’s leadership, wisdom and resilience, seeing him as an example of someone who excelled despite adversity. Adrian emulated Daniel’s spirit of dedication and service, embodying compassion, creativity, and a readiness to take on new challenges in his own life.
On October 16, 1974, in Dallas, Texas a radiant soul entered this world, bringing with him warmth and light that would touch countless lives. Adrian Tremyne Fisher was not just a blessing but a cherished treasure bestowed upon Curtis and Dianne Fisher by the grace of God. From the earliest moments of his upbringing, Adrian was enveloped in the nurturing of faith and love, instilled with life’s most profound lessons by his devoted parents. He was raised in the fear of God, taught the values that would shape his character and guide his path throughout life. From faith and confidence to responsibility and respect, Adrian embodied these virtues with unwavering dedication, demonstrating a profound love for God and his fellow beings.
Adrian’s spiritual journey began at an early age when he accepted Christ into his heart and was baptized by Reverend C.B.T. Smith at Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church. As he grew, Adrian’s commitment to his faith deepened, evidenced by his active participation in service.
On October 26, 1993, Adrian embarked on a new chapter of his life, joining the United States Air Force with a heart full of patriotism and a spirit of service. Throughout his military career, Adrian distinguished himself with honor, receiving accolades such as Outstanding Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Air Force Training Ribbon - a testament to his dedication and commitment to serving his country.
Adrian worked at Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma as a Senior User Interface Human Factors Engineer. His notable achievement includes designing the Chahta Achvffa portal, which digitizes applications for programs throughout the Choctaw Nation, serving nearly 200,000 users and processing over one million applications. Additionally, he created the administrative tool Chahta Achakvli, greatly enhancing efficiency and becoming a transformative asset operations at Choctaw Nation.
Adrian cherished our family reunions, eagerly anticipating them every other year. He took immense pride in designing our family logo, a labor of love spanning two decades. Adrian found joy in the great outdoors, delight in activities like fishing, hiking, and horseback riding, and he treasured moments spent traveling and making memories with loved ones.
On Friday, April 26, 2024, Adrian was called home to rest in the arms of God. While his earthly journey may seem to have ended too soon, we take solace in knowing God’s plans were already sealed. Though we mourn his passing, we celebrate the profound impact Adrian had on our lives and the legacy of love and joy he leaves behind.
Adrian is survived by his loving parents, Curtis and Dianne Fisher (Mesquite, TX); his sister, Angela M. Wiggins (Robert) and niece, Aniya S. Wiggins (Phoenix, AZ). He is also survived by his cousin/sister, Myldred Ingram (Marquis) (Hampton, VA); aunts, Cynthia B. Smith (Venus, TX), Annie D. Peck (Shreveport, LA), Linda F. Smith and Carolyn D. Hamilton Evans (Plano, TX), Cheryl D. Jones (De Isaac) and Leatrice C. Keyes (Los Angeles, CA). Additionally he is survived by three great uncles, Leo Moore (Los Angeles, CA), Edward C. Moore (Glenda) and Rubben B. Moore (Mooringsport, LA). Adrian is also remembered fondly by a host of cousins, friends and co-workers who will cherish his memory dearly.
As we bid you farewell, our hearts ache with sorrow. It’s time to lay down your sword and shield, to study war no more. Goodnight, SUPERMAN, until we meet again in the morning light.
