Robin Annette Sloan

With heavy hearts, we announced the passing of Robin Annette Sloan. Robin is the loving wife of 44 years to James Sloan; beloved mother to James "Dinky" Sloan, Jr., Cora Sloan, and Jessica Sloan; proud grandmother to Emily Elizabeth Sloan, Donald Ritter, IV, Logan Alexander Carter, and Ryan Cameron Ritter; cherished sister to Deborah Raymond, Adrian "Ruth" Kyle, Evelyn Dilbeck, Fred (Carolyn) Dilbeck, Jr., and Cheryl (Robert) Franciski, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Fred and Lucille Dilbeck. Robin enjoyed time spent with all her friends and family. Nothing excited her more than showering her grandchildren with love. She had a particular love for the summer and outdoors. Robin showed her strength in that she was a tireless warrior each and every day. She also overcame all challenges that she was faced with. The bond between her and her children is something that can never be broken. May her beautiful spirit live on through those who love her. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3rd, 2024 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:00 pm.
