Roxann was born June 10, 1968 in Houston, TX to her parents William R. Beadles Jr (deceased) and Merry Jane Beadles. She was the middle of three siblings. She is survived by her older sister, Wynnona Wilson, and her younger sister, Miriam Nelms. Roxann grew up in Houston and was a friend to everyone she met. Throughout her school years she participated in volleyball, basketball, and cheerleading. She graduated from CE King High School.
She married Edwin Lloyd Meyer Jr, her husband of 35 years, on September 10, 1988. Together they had three children, Emilie, Weston, and Kori and moved their family out to property in Willis, TX where they built their lives together. Roxann taught her children her love for the outdoors and her love for all living things. In addition to her horses, chickens, ducks, and donkeys, she adopted a number of stray dogs and cats over the years, an example of her full heart with so much love to give.
Roxann made her lifelong career in the medical field as a Radiology/ CT Tech. She worked at multiple hospitals throughout her life. She spent approximately 20 years at Tomball Regional Hospital and in recent years worked at CHI St. Lukes and PRN at multiple Freestanding ER’s. Roxann’s dedicated work ethic made her easy to work with and she was loved by all of her co-workers.
Roxann spent her home life surrounded by her close-knit family and her animals. She enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful flower beds. Over the last few years she and her husband Edwin spent a lot of their time creating a family getaway at their property on Lake Sam Rayburn and would spend many weekends there on the boat with family. She was so excited to have recently become a grandmother to her grandsons Jett (3 yrs) and Evan (6 months) and would spend many of her days off with them. Roxann’s family meant everything to her and she was truly the glue that held everyone together. She will be missed terribly by so many people.
