

Matt was predeceased by his beloved wife, Helen Cifuni, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and devotion. Also by his two parents Fred and Virginia Cifuni and his sister Barbara.
He is survived by his loving children, Justin, Chris, and Angela; his cherished grandsons, Dylan, Johnny, and Dominic; his son-in-law, Domenick; and his two daughters-in-law, Danielle and Angela. He is also survived by his 11 brothers and sisters and their spouses, in addition to many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Known by all for his incredible sense of humor, generous heart, and willingness to help anyone in need, Matt touched countless lives throughout his years. Above all else, he loved his family fiercely and devoted himself completely to those he cared about.
Matt worked at Lotte New York Palace for 46 years, where he truly enjoyed his work and the people he met each day. His dedication, work ethic, and warm personality left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Matt was also a proud member of the Elks Club and the Knights of Columbus, organizations that reflected his values of faith, charity, and service to others.
Matt will always be remembered for the remarkable man he was — kind, funny, loyal, and deeply devoted to his family and friends. Though he will be greatly missed, his loved ones find comfort in knowing he is now reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Helen.
His memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved.
