Thomas Paul Feuerstein, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, entered his eternal rest April 30, 2024. Tom was born July 18, 1942 in Belding, MI to parents Theodore and Maxine (Buser) Feuerstein who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his in-laws Al and Anne Hubbard and sister-in-law, Betty Martin.
Tom graduated from Catholic Central High School class of 1960, obtained his bachelor’s degree from Aquinas College, and his master’s degree from Michigan State University. Tom taught in the GRPS system for 38 years before retiring in 2004.
Tom enjoyed woodworking and gardening; he found joy in sharing his time and talents with others. His greatest joy came from his unwavering commitment in caring for his family.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Beverly (Hubbard), whom he married August 26, 1967. Tom and Bev were truly blessed by God with four wonderful children Ken, Karen (Earl) Thompson, Tim (Nikki), and Paul (Vanessa); along with treasured grandchildren Brooke Thompson and Tyler, Luke, Makenzie, Aidan, Ava, Allegra, Haley, Isla, and Elise Feuerstein. Tom is also survived by siblings Donna (Duane) Spring, Dennis (Peggy) Feuerstein, Janet Pocernik, and David (Christine) Feuerstein; brother-in-law, Bill (Ann) Hubbard; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
A funeral Mass for Tom will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 9408 Wilson Ave. SW, Byron Center, Michigan, with visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery immediately after the service.
