IN THE CARE OF
Little & Sons Funeral Home
Linda Joan Miller, Indianapolis, passed away on April 26, 2024 at Greenfield Healthcare Center after an extended illness. Linda was born on January 29, 1951. Linda and her brother Jerry were raised by their adoptive mom, and Linda always spoke fondly of her.
Born with a fiery personality, Linda never let life keep her down. She was a die-hard fan of WWF in the 1990s and 2000s and could often be heard yelling loudly at the wrestlers as she watched them on TV. Once Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson left, she couldn’t be bothered with watching anymore. Her evenings were often planned around watching Pat Sajak, Vannah White and Alex Trebek. She also enjoyed a good Price is Right or two each day. She was a fierce rummy player and often beat those who dared challenge her skills.
Linda loved her music. Elvis was one of her favorites. She loved to sing to those who visited with her, especially “5 Little Pumpkins”. If you were really lucky, she would show you her mad dancing skills with Chubby Checker’s “The Twist”.
Linda is survived by her brother Jerry as well as many friends and caregivers. She will be greatly missed by all of those who knew her.
A visitation will be held on May 2nd, from 12pm-1pm at Little and Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St., Beech Grove IN with burial to follow at Crown Hill cemetery.
