Jaynell S. Bordelon, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on May 1st, 2024 surrounded by family at the age of 82. Jaynell was a native of Cottonport, Louisiana and enjoyed spending time as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a Jehovah’s Witness Congregation member. She is survived by her daughter Robin Territo and husband, Charles; grandchildren Haley Faith Territo, Casey Territo Tortorich and husband Sammy; great grandchild Miles Tortorich; sisters-in-law Jackie Slocum, Mary McNeal; brother-in-law Ray Bordelon and wife Amy, and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Marion D. Bordelon; son Damon D. Bordelon; parents Howard and Louisiana Slocum; brothers Samuel, Norris, and Michael Slocum; nephews Norris Jr. and Brent Slocum. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge caretakers and staff.
Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Monday May 6th, 2024 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
